On behalf of the Management Board of Commission and by extension the Marine Department’s Team and Staff of the Antigua & Barbuda Port Authority, we are sharing our deepest condolences to the families of the late Captain Jason “Abby” Abbott.
Captain Abbott. passed away on Wednesday 31st of May 2023. He has served the Antigua & Barbuda Port Authority for 23 years as the Tug Captain. Abby was very special to us; he was dedicated and a non nonsense employee with a great sense of humor. Throughout his years at the Port Authority “Abby” was an encourager and wanted everyone to do well. He will be dearly missed by all his colleagues.
Captain Jason “Abby” Abbott will be laid to rest on 26th June, 2023.
May he continue to rest in peace.
